What We Collect

Septic Tank Register UK is a directory of EA-registered septic tank emptying companies. The business information displayed (company name, address, registration number) is sourced from the publicly available Environment Agency waste carrier register. This is public data published by a government body.

Quote Requests

If you submit a quote request, we collect your name, phone number, postcode, the type of job, and your email address if you choose to give one. We use your postcode to work out which area you are in.

We pass these details to EA-registered waste carriers so they can contact you with a quote. That is the entire point of the form, and it is the only reason we collect the information. We do not sell your details for any other purpose, and we do not add you to a marketing list.

We keep quote requests so we can tell how well the service is working. If you would like yours deleted, email the address at the bottom of this page and we will remove it.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site. GA4 uses cookies to distinguish users and may collect data such as pages visited, clicks on links, search queries, and scroll depth. You can opt out by disabling cookies in your browser or using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
